This collection offers a profound exploration of life through a blend of monochromatic and vibrant images, each telling a distinct story. "25" delves into themes of resilience, solitude, and community, capturing the beauty and challenges of everyday existence.
From the contemplative gaze of a farmer in "A Farmer's Life" to the quiet intimacy of a single beam in "Mobile Light," each photograph is a moment frozen in time. Works like "Life Goes On" juxtapose life’s inequities with stark poignancy, while "The Beautiful Game" celebrates human determination through the dynamic energy of sport.
Urban and natural landscapes play a significant role, as seen in the industrial aesthetic of "Outside Lloyds" and the serene beauty of "St Chads and the Sunset." Nature's simplicity shines in "Robin's Breakfast," contrasting with the layered narratives of human activity in pieces like "Tacos, Nachos, Bowls, and Blues."
With themes ranging from hope and achievement in "Graduate" to wistfulness in "I Love You," "25" invites viewers to reflect on life’s complexities through a lens of artful composition and thoughtful storytelling.
I'm privileged to be the official photographer of the event and hope to see you on the 28th September and the 19th of October for the exhibition.

This collection of photographs displays the stark distinction between black & white images, and colour images, focusing on how colour can completely change the mood of a photograph.
The first half contains black and white photographs that capture the harsh contrast between the jet-black shadows and the glowing highlights of the streets of London. As the shadows cascade onto the subjects, they cast strict lines that accentuate texture and tangibility. These photos catch subjects as they walk through the sunlight and emerge from the shadows, creating a bold silhouette.
The second half includes vibrant and atmospheric colour photographs taken throughout Chinatown and Soho, these images have a sense of life and warmth. Abstraction is prevalent in these images as the
bizarre shapes that occur when colour collides with an object is wildly different to the straight, sharp lines that shadows often form. Whether it's completely coated in colour or it consists of small accents, the character within these Images displays the power that colour has to unleash emotion onto anything it touches.
